Statute of Limitations in the state of Utah?

If you have a written contract that says you waive the right to claim any statute of limitations regarding claims for services rendered, with interest rates and collections fees are stated, how long is the statute of limitations, with regard to services rendered? I have been told 4 years and 6 years. Which is correct in Utah?

In Utah the statute of limitations is 4 years for a verbal contract and 6 years for a written contract, but if you waved your right to a statute of limitations then the person you entered into this contract with may be able to hold you accountable even after the statute of limitations is up.

Some contracts sent to collections never have a statute of limitations like federal loans (i.e. student loans). If you signed a contract stating that there was no statute of limitations then you should speak with a lawyer who specializes in Utah contract law.
