A dog's normal body temperature is higher than ours (100.5 to 101.5 degrees F) so they will probably feel colder than you will at 50 degrees. The saftey of your dog depends on his size. Small breeds (under 20 lbs) are more susceptible to cold that larger dogs. If you are concerned, you can get your dog an electric heated dog bed. Also, be sure to monitor your dogs eating and drinking habits as well as his attitude. If you have any concerns, contact your vet.
